Marble Abstract
Gather Your Choice Of Premixed Paint Colors And Marble
For beginners, you can outline the canvas with painter's tape, leaving an edge above the canvas to create a border that will prevent the marble from rolling off.
Follow Steps #1 -4 Before Starting Design
For best results and more contrast, use multiple paint colors
Choose the paint colors to create your color palette
Create a pattern by applying paint color circles measuring 2 to 3 inches placing them across the prepared canvas
Gently and slowly squeeze the applicator bottle using the applicator tip for placement of the circles of paint
Start with the first color of circles to start creating the pattern
Second Paint Color
Apply the second paint color directly on top of the first circles of paint to continue creating the pattern
Third Paint Color
Continue to create the pattern by repeating the process of placing the third paint color layering right on top of the first and second circles of paint
Fourth Paint Color
Continue to create the pattern by repeating the process of placing the fourth paint color layering right on top of the third layer circles of paint
Pulling The Paint With The Marble
Repeat the process for each color until all colors are used and the desired circle pattern is complete.
Place the marble in the middle of the canvas
Gently and slowly start to tilt the canvas back and forth and allow the marble to pull the paint colors by rolling around on the canvas to start creating the design
Try to keep the marble on the canvas, but if and when it falls off wipe it off place it back on the canvas, and continue the process of pulling the paint with the marble until the desired design comes to life
Be careful of pulling the paint too much, the paint colors will start to over-blend and get muddy
Place the marble into the bucket of water until ready for a cleanup
After your artwork is completely dry, Gently and Slowly remove the painter's tape if needed
SEE CLEANUP INSTRUCTIONS
FOR BEST RESULTS LET YOUR PAINTING SIT FOR 48 HOURS OR UNTIL COMPLETELY DRY
