Apply Your Choice Of Paint Color(s)

  • Gently and slowly squeeze the applicator bottle using the applicator tip to place the paint color directly onto the strings

  • Leave a 1-inch of both ends unpainted, providing a place to hold onto for when you are ready to pull the paint

Pulling The Strings Making The Flower Petals

  • Picking up from both ends gently and slowly and one at a time lift the first paint-covered string off of the plastic liner

  • One end in each hand, keep ahold of both ends

  • Lay the string onto canvas forming the shape of the first flower petal

  • While still holding both ends, begin pulling the string in your right hand and dragging it on the canvas towards the intended center of the flower

  • As the string nears the  intended center of the flower lift it up and off the canvas

  • Place string  in the bucket of water until ready for cleanup

paint-covered string one at a time

  • Layer each petal in a circular pattern as you go until the flower design is completed

  • Average of twelve to fourteen petals for the flower

  • Turn canvas as needed

  • Use the metal shovel blotter to dab the center only to remove the excess paint, wipe off onto a paper towel as needed

  • Place the string and shovel blotter into the bucket of water until ready for cleanup

Center Of The Flower

  • Choose a paint color(s) to create the center of the flower

  • Using the applicator tip place a small amount of paint onto the plastic liner

  • Use the tip of the rod and tap into the paint color and place dots of paint in the center of the flower
