Follow Steps #1 -4 Before Starting Design Choice

Gather Your Choice Of Premixed Paint Color, 2 Balloons, And Plastic Liner

  • Gather the prepared paint color(s) for the flowers

  • Using 2 to 4 color choices for the flower(s) is average and will create a beautiful contrast

Prepare Balloon

  • Inflate the balloon to 3 inches in diameter (about the size of an orange), and secure it with a knot

  • You can add a little water to the balloon to add weight for better control

  • Note: To pull the paint with the balloon, hold it by positioning the tied-off end between your index and middle fingers; this will enhance your grip and provide better control over the balloon

Creating A Color Palette

  • Place the colors of paint onto plastic liner to create the color palette

Choose The Balloon Size For Pulling The Flowers

  • To pull the paint with the balloon, hold it by positioning the tied-off end between your index and middle fingers; this will enhance your grip and provide better control over the balloon

Pulling The Flower

  • To create the first flower press the bottom of the balloon into the paint colors

  • Press the balloon lightly onto the canvas to create the first flower impression

  • Wipe off the bottom of the balloon as needed to do the next pulled flower to keep the paint from becoming muddy

  • Add more paint as needed

  • Repeat the process to create the abstract design

  • Balloons are reusable and will last multiple times (some last for months)

  • Clean off balloons with warm soapy water when you are done pulling the flowers

SEE CLEANUP INSTRUCTIONS
